Terms of Service

By accessing and using Slyk Productions' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Slyk Productions provides professional video editing and production services, including but not limited to:

• Video Editing: Professional video editing, color grading, and post-production services
• Video Production: Full-scale video production from concept to completion
• Motion Graphics: 2D/3D animation and motion graphics creation
• Visual Effects: VFX and compositing services
• Audio Production: Sound design, mixing, and mastering
• Live Streaming: Multi-camera live production and streaming services

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide Materials: Supply all necessary materials, footage, and content in a timely manner
• Content Rights: Ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions for provided content
• Feedback: Provide clear feedback and review deliverables within agreed timeframes
• Communication: Maintain prompt communication throughout the project
• Payment: Provide accurate payment information and settle invoices on time

Pricing Structure

• Project-based: Fixed pricing for defined projects with clear deliverables
• Hourly Rates: Time-based billing for ongoing or undefined scope work
• Retainer: Monthly retainer agreements for ongoing services

Payment Schedule

• Deposit: 50% deposit required to commence work on projects over $1,000
• Milestones: Progress payments for larger projects with defined milestones
• Final Payment: Final payment due upon project completion and delivery

Late Payments

Payments overdue by more than 30 days are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee. Work may be suspended on accounts with overdue payments.

Client Materials

Clients retain all rights to materials provided to Slyk Productions for use in projects.

Deliverables

Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership rights to the final deliverables created specifically for their project.

Slyk Productions Rights

• Right to showcase completed work in portfolio and marketing materials
• Right to use techniques, processes, and knowledge gained from projects
• Right to use stock assets, templates, and tools across multiple projects

Third-Party Materials

Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permissions for third-party materials used in their projects.

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:

• Project details and specifications
• Business strategies and proprietary information
• Client lists and customer information
• Financial information and pricing
• Any information marked as confidential

This confidentiality obligation survives the termination of any project or business relationship.

Slyk Productions' total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Delays caused by client actions or inactions
• Issues arising from client-provided materials
• Force majeure events beyond our control

By Client

Clients may terminate projects with written notice. Fees will be calculated based on:

• Work completed up to termination date
• Non-refundable deposits and milestone payments
• Costs incurred for third-party services

By Slyk Productions

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

• Client fails to provide necessary materials or information
• Client violates any term of this agreement
• Payment is overdue by more than 30 days
• Project scope becomes unfeasible or unethical

Slyk Productions warrants that:

• Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner
• Deliverables will be free from material defects
• Work will comply with industry standards
• Final deliverables will match approved specifications

Warranty Period

We provide a 30-day warranty period from final delivery during which we will address any issues or defects at no additional cost.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

• Issues caused by client modifications after delivery
• Problems resulting from client-provided materials
• Normal wear and tear or misuse
• Third-party services or platforms

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
